FESTA
St. Ann's Festa is a wonderful time for parishioners to contribute time and energy to one of the finest parish festivals in all of New Jersey. Festa is usually scheduled in the month of June.
Volunteers are always needed to work in one of our fabulous food booths or one of the games of chance. Volunteers are also needed to help set up and break down the Festa when it's over.
Blood Drive
Twice a year, The Catholic Church of St. Ann sponsors a blood drive to support The Red Cross. The blood drives help insure that those who need blood have a safe supply available to them. Nine out of ten of us will need a blood transfusion at some point in our lives. We need volunteers for sign-ups, making phone calls, baking, setup, cleanup, and serving on the day of the drive.
Lenten Supper
On the Wednesdays of Lent, before Lenten devotions, we volunteer our time to cook and serve a meal in the school cafeteria. Dinner is served between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. This meal is open to all parishioners and local residents. It is an opportunity to enjoy good food and company and a spiritual evening with our parish family before evening Mass. It is an excellent opportunity for Confirmation candidates to be of service by helping out during the evening.
